AmCham meets with new chair of St. Petersburg Committee for Tourism Development
TOHOLOGY, 7 July 2016

On July 5, AmCham St. Petersburg's Tourism and Hospitality Committee - which comprises representatives of major St. Petersburg hotels - met with Andrey Mushkarev, newly-appointed chair of the St. Petersburg Committee for Tourism Development.

One of the main issues discussed was the need to introduce 72-hour visa-free stays for foreigners. It was agreed to unite the efforts of the St. Petersburg Government and the business community to continue work on draft legislation currently being reviewed by the State Duma.

Other participants in the meeting included Evgeny Pankevich, General Director of the St. Petersburg Tourist & Information Bureau, and Olga Mugatina, General Director of the St. Petersburg Congress & Exhibition Bureau
