ATP tennis tournament St. Petersburg Open 2013 took place on previous week. Latvian Ernests Gulbis captured the singles title while the Spanish team David Marrero / Fernando Verdasco have triumphed in the doubles. A St. Petersburg Open off-court activity took place in the Grand Hotel Europe. Mikhail Youzhny and his son Maxim joined the hotel chef Glen Cooper and his assistants for a cooking session. They made ravioli and their Russian equivalent pelmeni.
